Reporting to the CFO, your main tasks will be:
- Accounting supervision in conjunction with the accounting firm:
- Supervising and coordinating all the accounting operations of the Group's entities, including general and auxiliary accounting.
- Ensure that the accounts are properly kept.
- Guarantee the reliability and accuracy of accounting and financial information.
- Quarterly and annual closings in conjunction with the accounting firm and Financial Control:
- Managing the quarterly and annual closings within the required deadlines.
- Preparing and supervising accounting closing work: closing entries, provisions, adjustments, etc.
- Working with the external auditors on audit and review assignments.
- Internalisation project:
- Carrying out the accounting internalisation project, including the introduction of new tools and processes.
- Train and support internal teams in the new accounting processes and tools.
- Process optimisation:
- Streamline and optimise accounting processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Implementing robust accounting and financial procedures.
- Automating and digitising accounting processes with a view to continuous improvement.
- Team management:
- Supervising and supporting an accounting assistant in her daily tasks.
- Ensuring the development of skills and the growth of the accounting team.
- Cash management:
- Supervises the day-to-day management of cash and cash flows.
- Monitoring cash flow forecasts in conjunction with the Financial Controller.
- Ensure that relations with banking partners are properly managed.
- Compliance and taxation in conjunction with the accountancy firm:
- Ensuring that accounting practices comply with current standards and tax regulations.
- Supervising the preparation and filing of tax and social security returns.
- Continuously monitor regulatory developments and update accounting practices accordingly.
Requirements:
- University degree (master 2) in accounting, finance or a related field.
- At least 10 years' professional experience in an accounting firm and/or company, preferably in a deeptech or technology sector.
- Mastery of local and international accounting principles and tax standards.
- Proven experience in managing teams and supervising accounting operations.
- Advanced skills in accounting software and financial management tools.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt quickly to change.
- Very good level of English to work in an international environment (2 subsidiaries abroad).
