We are looking for a Validation Engineer to work in our Tampere manufacturing site.
Your Role:
As a validation engineer, you will ensure that our equipment, systems, and processes used in the manufacturing of medical devices are validated and in compliance with industry regulations, standards, and practices. You will work closely with different functions to plan, execute, and report verification and validation projects. Part of this work also involves assessing risks related to the equipment, systems, and processes as the basis for the validation activities. Your role also includes maintaining the validated state by evaluating and investigating nonconformities and handling related corrective and preventive actions.
What We Are Looking For:
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- You have a minimum of five years of experience in verification and validation within medical devices or other regulated industries. Also, experience from other quality and/or process engineering tasks within medical devices is seen beneficial for this position.
- You are familiar with regulatory requirements and industry standards and practices related to verification and validation of equipment, systems, and processes used in medical device manufacturing (e.g., ISO 13485, US FDA) and you have recently been trained on validation related standards or guidance.
- You have good problem-solving skills and are familiar with basic quality tools and statistical techniques.
- You are experienced in the execution of validations, including writing validation documentation in English.
- You have good communication and cooperation skills in Finnish and English for working in cross-functional teams.
