R&D unit in KTI is responsible for developing digital services at KONE. It’s the development engine for our Digital Services such as KONE 24/7 Connected Services, Office Flow and Partnership Ecosystem.


We are now looking for a


Senior Product Manager, Digital Experience Solutions to lead our developments within the DX (Digital Experience) Solutions Tribe in Hyvinkää, Finland. You may also work in our Espoo office, if that’s more convenient for you. There’s a possibility to work remotely few days a week.


Our DX Solutions Tribe is building and operating state-of-the-art digital services for our connected elevators to provide Best People Flow Experience (see e.g. Office Flow).


What is our challenge for you?


Our digital experience solutions consist of multiple entities that make the people flow smooth and exciting, as well as ensure a convenient elevator passenger experience. The product portfolio includes solutions like KONE Destination, KONE Access, KONE Lane and infotainment solutions. In this role, you will holistically own and develop the product line. Together with development teams, you will ensure excellent product market fit and a coherent, exceptional and recognizable end user experience.


As a Senior Product Manager, Digital Experience Solution, you will

  1. Ensure the digital experience solutions product strategies and roadmaps are pure gold
  2. Together with the other product managers in the tribe as well as in technology teams ensure we are delivering on our commitments and according to our roadmap
  3. Ensure alignment between technical architecture and business outcomes. Manage priorities and dependencies between teams and own dedicated product backlog.
  4. Act as a bridge between technical teams and other stakeholders to ensure smooth co-operation. Collaborate with the business stakeholders to ensure alignment, customer deliveries and understand the business outcomes.
  5. Use data and analytics to guide decisions. Implement metrics and KPIs on dashboards and ensure stakeholders are up to date.

To succeed in this role, you have

  1. Strong product management experience and proven track record in an international environment, working with connected physical devices, SW (devices & cloud) and ecosystems
  2. Solid leadership skills in matrix organization, with proven track record of leading complex systems and products
  3. Strong business acumen and capability to quantify customer value and business benefit.
  4. Are data-savvy and KPI-driven, using data in product decision making analysis and you are familiar with tools like PowerBI
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across R&D and business stakeholders.

The desired candidate will have

  1. A minimum of 5+ years of demonstrated product leadership experience with a proven track record of success stories.
  2. Concrete proof with results on leading the R&D development of complex integrated and connected systems, physical products and cloud infrastructure.
  3. Experience on building and driving ecosystems, digital platforms and new business models is considered as plus.
  4. Proven skills and experience on creating and executing visionary product strategies that are driving impact.
  5. Agile leadership experience in practice.
  6. Experience in working in an international multisite environment with high-performing technology business.
