Radar System Specialist

We have an excellent R&D team consisting of experienced professionals, but we are eagerly looking for new colleagues to join us and help us make some awesome high-tech stuff! Backlog is full for years to come, and we are continuously growing our development teams.

We are now looking to strengthen our team with a Radar System Specialist who will take a key role in the development of next generation radar systems. This is a truly unique opportunity!

Your role

Being part of a wider development team, your work spans from specification, simulation, implementation, and testing of innovative radar systems. You will work closely with domain area experts from various development teams such as RF, HW, SW, testing and product management. Together with your colleagues you will define and implement state-of-the-art radars that will serve our customers for years to come.

In this job, some of your tasks have a connection to defense secrecy. Therefore, a drug test and approved security clearance in accordance with the Finnish Security Clearance act 726/2014 is required for the selected applicant.

Your profile

Required skills:

• Experience in radar system engineering or a related discipline
• Familiarity with radar signal processing algorithms and software tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python)
• Background in military or aerospace industries
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and within a team
• Fluent Finnish and English (spoken and written)

Additional know-how that is greatly appreciated, but not required:

• Practical experience of radar system testing and verification
• Understanding of radar simulation software and modeling
• Knowledge of advanced radar technologies, including phased array and synthetic aperture radar (SAR)
