Job Description
At Nexi, we have an ambitious goal of implementing a next-generation payment solution to serve Europe and operate millions of payment terminal devices. Our solution offers usability, security, and high quality for small and medium enterprises across the continent, impacting the everyday life of everyone around us by powering an easier tomorrow for every citizen, bank, business, and colleague.
Nexi Digital Finland is a software development hub for Nexi Group. We develop the core of the payment solution and drive the product development of digital in-store payment products and services. At some point, when traveling across Europe, you will be proud to see people paying for purchases using a system you’ve built together with your Nexi colleagues.
Our Test & Certification team is responsible for advocating good quality practices within our organization, supporting teams with exploratory testing, maintaining our regression testing infrastructure and giving expert advice, and coordinating Certification-related activities.
As a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for acquiring insight into the current quality level of our product through testing. Your testing toolkit includes various ways to do this. This can be adding more test automation, doing exploratory testing, or some other form of testing.
We also have a CNC-based test robot that is the team's responsibility so if you feel like developing an occasional piece of code for it that will be possible.
First and foremost, we expect you to be curious and not afraid to learn new things. We’re looking for a person who takes responsibility and initiative, takes the lead where needed, and embraces teamwork. Don’t worry, you won’t be the only one with these traits.
We want to create the best product in the payment industry, and make it happen by building the best team. Our teams have autonomy over their work and you get to influence the team’s ways of working, tools, technologies, and architecture. We support you in developing your skills further in a way that suits your way of learning. We work in a hybrid way and you’ll find the freedom to balance an exciting job with life outside of work. We genuinely enjoy working here and hope that so will you!
As a next step in the process, we will invite potential candidates to meet and greet both the team coach and some of the team members (virtually or physically), so you will also have the opportunity to get to know the team members and learn more about the role and our working culture.
Please send your application soonest, as we will start interviewing and shall fill in the position as soon as the right candidate is found. If you’re curious to learn more about the job, you’re welcome to contact perhaps your future servant leader Mikael Siirtola at mikael.siirtola@nexigroup.com.
Are you interested in joining one of Europe's leading PayTech companies? Do you want to be part of a diverse team, collaborating with colleagues from across Europe? If so, you're in the right place!
