Front-end Engineer (React/Next.js) for a Sustainability SaaS

We are looking for an experienced Front-end Engineer (React/Next.js) based in the Helsinki area. You will mainly work independently on prototypes and MVPs, collaborating closely with Product Owners, including direct interactions with the CEO and CPO. Occasionally, you will support other teams with regular front-end tasks.

This full-time, permanent position is available on a hybrid basis for candidates based in Helsinki, Finland.

What you will do:

• Develop interactive prototypes and MVPs using React and Next.js.
• Mock backend/API functionality or occasionally assist with backend tasks.
• Gather and clarify requirements directly from Product Owners and senior management.
• Support other teams periodically with regular frontend feature implementation.

What you need:

• 5+ years front-end experience with React/Next.js.
• Proven ability to independently create prototypes and MVPs.
• Experience mocking APIs and basic backend tasks.
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable with independent tasks.
• Adaptable to rapidly changing priorities and iterative work.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in English as it is our working language.
• Beneficial: Good knowledge of Figma for translating designs into code and/or tweaking designs by yourself.
