What You Will Be Doing

1. Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for functional and regression testing.
2. Design and implement test cases to ensure the quality of software products.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure that requirements are met.
4. Perform SQL queries to validate and manipulate data for backend testing.
5. Identify, track, and report software defects to ensure timely resolution.
6. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing test frameworks and processes.
7. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily standups to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.

What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Proven experience as a QA Engineer with a focus on test automation.
3. Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
4. Proficiency in writing SQL queries for database testing and validation.
5. Experience with JavaScript.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
8. Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
9. Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman).
10. Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
11. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
