Minimum Requirements:

1. Have recent UK or International experience of teaching Mathematics up to IGCSE and A level or equivalent. The ability to teach Computer Science at KS3 would be a distinct advantage.
2. Have an Honours Degree in Mathematics or a related field.
3. Have UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
4. Have a proven track record of raising standards of attainment in Mathematics.
5. A commitment to curriculum innovation.
6. Be an outstanding teacher.
7. Be well organised and create a stimulating learning environment.
8. Be enthusiastic and demonstrate a positive approach to pupils.
9. Be a reflective practitioner and continually strive to improve performance.
10. Consistently apply school policies.
11. Have a keen interest in the Personal Development of pupils.
12. Have experience of being an effective form tutor (or equivalent).
13. Demonstrate a willingness to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school.

Job Summary:
