What You Will Be Doing

1. Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend services using Node.js.
2. Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and ensure efficient database design using MySQL.
3. Integrate with third-party APIs and services, ensuring reliable data flow and performance.
4. Collaborate with front-end developers and product teams to ensure smooth data exchange between the server and user-facing applications.
5. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot scalability issues.
6. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.

What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role

1. Proven experience as a Back-End Developer with expertise in Node.js.
2. Strong proficiency in MySQL and the ability to design efficient database schemas and write complex SQL queries.
3. Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration.
4. Experience with JavaScript (ES6+) and server-side frameworks (e.g., Express.js).
5. Knowledge of best practices in API security, authentication, and data protection.
6. Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
7. Experience with unit testing and debugging backend systems.
8. Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) or other relational databases.
9. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS).
