Job Summary:
About the Role & Team
Within the Disney+ team, the Trading & Planning Analyst will be in charge of supporting the D+ Team Lead in analyzing the commercial performance of Disney+ in Spain & Portugal (sign ups, churn, net growth, subscribers etc.), collaborating daily with the local Disney+ Team as well as with the EMEA trading and analytics teams. This role will require you to be onsite 4 days a week in our Madrid office, with one day working from home.
What You Will Do
- Review and analyze weekly & quarterly numbers: sign ups, subscribers, churn, engagement, content performance and net growth.
- Provide a clear view of Disney+' performances in Spain & Portugal vs our forecast (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual), producing the corresponding insights and presentations.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis requested by the team to better understand business performance and see opportunities.
- Present insights to management, as a guide for decision making.
- Work with external vendors in the preparation and delivery of studies and research projects.
- Work daily with the trading team to enhance collaboration across EMEA.
- Be the contact person for any trading questions in Spain & Portugal for the EMEA Trading team and work closely with our analytics team to access data and share views of key factors influencing the state of the subscriber base.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in data analytics, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing large datasets and distilling them into actionable insights that are presented in a logical and compelling story.
- Skilled at prioritizing and managing multiple project schedules and deadlines that run simultaneously.
- Commercial and Consumer Behaviour understanding.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with comfort delivering simple and compelling stories.
