At its core, LocalStack provides a high-fidelity emulator and local cloud development platform. Imagine developing cloud applications and data pipelines entirely on your local machine within a lightweight cloud sandbox, running in Docker!

Our mission is to empower developers to rapidly build and test their cloud applications, allowing for a more enjoyable dev experience, and saving valuable time and resources.

LocalStack has a large and active open-source community (57k+ stars on GitHub) with over 100k active users worldwide and 290M+ downloads to date. Our customer base ranges from SMBs to Global Fortune 500 companies.

We are sustainably growing our globally distributed team across sectors. LocalStack is headquartered in Zurich/Switzerland, with a main engineering office in Vienna/Austria and remote team members from the US, FR, UK, CA, ES, and many more countries.

This is the right opportunity for a seasoned finance leader who has gone through the series A-D journey before, with experience in VC backed b2b SaaS ventures, exposure to the US market, and an international setup.

Requirements

What you will be working on/responsible for:

• Define, drive and own holistic financial strategy, partnering with the leadership team to set and monitor company OKRs, ARR, budget and other metrics
• Act as a valued partner to leaders by helping manage their budgets, providing business modeling and decision support
• Support founders in analyzing the progress of the venture, building predictability and confidence in decision making
• Collaborate with teams to develop financial analyses to support new strategic initiatives, product pricing decisions and company performance measurement
• Lead and develop a high performing team

Experience we expect you to bring to the role:

• Experience in a VC backed b2b SaaS venture, growing from series A to C/D
• Experience as a strategic finance leader with exposure to the US market
• Experience in an international setup
• Experience working with sub entities in Europe and the US
• Proven high financial literacy
