DevOps Engineer (Azure, Kubernetes, CI / CD)

Job Description

We’re seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to support a UK-based banking / fintech client in a critical phase of cloud migration and .NET version upgrade.

The role focuses on modernizing infrastructure and optimizing CI / CD pipelines for a reporting application that processes document-based data.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Migration & Infrastructure:
• Design and implement scalable Azure infrastructure (AKS, Azure DevOps, Virtual Networks).
• Migrate on-premise systems to cloud environments, ensuring security and compliance.
• CI / CD & Automation:
• Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) for automated deployments.
• Integrate SonarQube for code quality checks and Selenium (if applicable) for testing automation.
• Containerization & Orchestration:
• Implement Docker containerization and Kubernetes / Helm for deployment management.
• Optimize container networking and resource allocation.
• Collaboration & Documentation:
• Work closely with development teams to streamline workflows.
• Create clear documentation for infrastructure and pipeline processes.

Essential Skills:

• Azure DevOps: Proficiency in CI / CD pipelines, AKS, and Azure compliance / security features.
• Containerization: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Automation: Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform or ARM templates (nice to have).
• Languages: English mandatory (Spanish nice to have).

Nice to Have:

• Selenium experience for test automation.
• Familiarity with SonarQube for code quality.
• Knowledge of .NET environments and banking-sector compliance (e.g., GDPR).
