At DKL, we take remote work seriously. We don’t have a physical HQ — our team is distributed across Spain and abroad. You’ll work 40 hours per week, but you choose how to organize your time. The only fixed moments are dailies and client meetings, because we value results and well-being over micromanagement.
As a UX/UI designer, you will work on projects that require special attention to user experience and interface design. Your responsibilities will include gathering customer requirements, designing wireframes and prototypes, and collaborating closely with developers to ensure smooth implementation. You will focus on delivering high-quality, user-friendly, and aesthetically appealing designs.
Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:
You will be an integral part of the design team at DKL, working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the best user experience for our clients. You will meet daily with the team online and work remotely. Your day-to-day will be alongside the Front-end Lead, and the rest of the team will always be available to support you.
We organize ourselves using Google Suite (Gmail, Meets, Docs), Slack for communication, and tools like Figma for design collaboration. For project management, we use Atlassian tools (Jira & Confluence).
You will work with the CTO, Front-end Lead, Project Manager Lead, as well as the rest of the team, on a daily basis.
Your first six months will be structured to support your learning, integration, and progression as you settle into your role. This period aligns with our review checkpoints at 1, 3, and 6 months, ensuring you have a clear pathway to success during your probation period.
By the first month, you will have completed your onboarding with all the DKL leads, receiving full support to familiarize yourself with the company, tools, and projects. We will introduce our design roadmap and expectations. You will have met DKL’s leadership and project managers, explored the organizational structure, and set up your internal management tools. Finally, you will be fully integrated into the frontend team and will have joined our weekly team meetings to introduce yourself.
By the third month at DKL, you will have gained familiarity with internal projects and workflows. You will be actively contributing to design projects, creating prototypes, and collaborating with developers to bring designs to life.
After six months at DKL, you will not only be refining individual designs but also shaping the company’s design strategy. By now, you will be a full-fledged member of DKL, helping to establish best practices and drive design innovation.
We aim to make our selection process smooth, informative, and enjoyable, ensuring it’s a two-way street where we get to know each other.
