Could you be the full-time IXL Application Design Engineer in Madrid we're looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your interlocking expertise in a new cutting-edge field.

You'll work alongside young and proactive teammates. You'll perform the design of Boolean Logic to be applied to the stations and blocks to be developed. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, software development), manage system requirements implementation and validation, for ALSTOM IXL projects (electronic interlocking) and much more. You'll specifically take care of assuring the correct feedback on future projects, using the return of experience coming back from V & V processes.

We'll look to you for:

1. Understand system requirements, as set by customer, and carry out gap analysis towards ALSTOM standard platform.
2. Work in the engineering phase of Boolean Logic development for electronic interlocking (Tests of Boolean Logic for control/command of interlocking).
3. Coordinate with other engineering team members and other disciplines of the project.
4. Perform engineering activities required for system/subsystems, to match customer's requirements, considering Quality/Cost/Delivery (QCD) objectives of the project.
5. Perform the design of Boolean Logic of IXL during the development phase and even the commissioning phase.
6. Ensure compliance with the customer's requirements aligned with ALSTOM standard platform policy.
7. Ensure the quality of your work to contribute to the quality of the system being delivered.
8. Manage QCD of the part of the project assigned to you for the Work Package Owner.

2. At least three (3) years of previous experience in Electronic Interlocking Design activities, with good knowledge of Signaling for Railways.
