We are currently recruiting for a Senior Security Engineer, reporting to the Head of Security Architecture and Engineering, to build and test new security controls and tools for Tunstall.
This is an incredibly exciting time to join Tunstall as we embark on an exciting period of transformation. You will be joining a recently created and growing global Information Security team within Tunstall and play a key part in the success of this transformation.
This role would be based at our Madrid office working on a hybrid basis. We are flexible on the number of days in the office and on location and would consider applications from people who can work at one of our other European offices (Malmo (Sweden), Whitley (UK), or Manchester (UK)).
Please ensure your CV is uploaded in English so the team can review.
As our Senior Security Engineer, you will build and test new security controls and tools for wider adoption and implementation across all Tunstall regions, countries, and entities, positively impacting thousands of colleagues and millions of customers across 18 countries. You will be driving the continuous improvement of our security posture by enhancing our defenses through new security tools in various domains, including Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Extended Detection and Response (XDR), email protection platforms, identity and access management, and privileged access management tools, network security controls, and more.
Being proactive with continuous improvement and continuously challenging the suitability of our security controls and tools, and revisiting whether we can improve or should replace them is vital to the success of this role.
To be successful in this role, you will have considerable experience in cybersecurity, with proven experience in a similar security engineer role. You will have a deep understanding of the cybersecurity market (vendors, solutions, new trends), cyber threats and their evolution, adversarial techniques, tactics and procedures, and industry frameworks, standards, and best practices such as MITRE.
The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in IT and cybersecurity, extensive and proven knowledge and experience with security solutions (EDR, XDR, etc.), and a good understanding of applied cryptography and secure protocols. An ability to manage complexity and make decisions with limited information is vital to the success of this role.
If you are not sure if you have the relevant skills or experience, then please apply (only takes a few minutes) and let our team review and come back to you.
