Technical Accountant

We are looking for a Technical Accountant based in Barcelona .

The incumbent will act as an expert for Uzbekistan , maintaining the integrity of the financial reports with US, local GAAP, SOX, and corporate standards to ensure reports satisfy reporting requirements of US GAAP and SOX.

As Technical Accountant, you will :

• Be responsible for ensuring that all key compliance deadlines are met.
• Ensure timely and accurate US GAAP and local GAAP under IFRS accounting and reporting and compliance with statutory requirements including statutory audit as applicable for AP subsidiaries in Uzbekistan.
• Conduct month-end and year-end close processes.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize account information.
• Audit financial transactions and document accounting control procedures.
• Ensure timely and accurate GAAP accounting and reporting and compliance with all Tax, VAT, and other statutory requirements including statutory audit as applicable.

You will have :

• Working experience of 3-5 years in preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS .
• A degree in Financial Accounting, preferably with an IFRS background.
• Working experience in an international team.
• Fluency in English ; Russian and / or Uzbek will be beneficial.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a large multi-disciplined environment.
