Our Martos plant is one of the biggest sites within our Visibility Systems Business Group in charge of developing and manufacturing Lighting Products and Electronics. As a System Design Leader in Valeo Martos, you will be designing cutting-edge electronics for top car makers in the world, working in a fast-paced, international, and multicultural environment.

Your mission:

- Accountable for the deliverables of the system design discipline to ensure the success of the project in collaboration with the System Architect.

- Responsible for the detailed scheduling and budgeting of his Engineering discipline System design activities, with support from the Engineering discipline Department Manager/System Team Leader.

Your responsibilities:

Accountable for:

Complying with Engineering disciplines processes and Design Rules:

1. Plan, monitor, and control activities according to Engineering discipline PD of his/her PG/PL following CPM (CLEAN Project Management).
2. In charge of the robust design/validation in line with the economical targets.
3. Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications.
4. Perform or support design calculations/simulations/coding/associated acceptance tests.
5. Apply Standardization rules; exceptionally request destandardizations based on justifications.
6. Responsible for Engineering discipline design reviews preparation.
7. Interface with the customer for the Engineering discipline content.
8. Report and escalate to the Product Technical Manager/Leader/Eng and his Hierarchical.

Responsible for the detailed scheduling and budgeting:

1. Contribute to the identification of the needs in terms of resources, equipment, investments.
2. Establish detail breakdown of the activities to meet the milestones.
3. Follow activities and spending of his scope to meet his allowed budget and timing.

Management of the contributors:

1. Assign to them the needed work packages.
2. Regular review with his/her Hierarchical to check alignment between needs and availabilities.

Desired skills and experience:

Electronics Engineering Degree/Master, Telecommunications or equivalent experience.

5/7 years of experience in System Design in automotive engineering or relevant industries.

Knowledge of Simulation and CAD tools (Simetrix, Pspice, Cadence...).

Passion for the automotive industry.

Negotiation English level is mandatory.
