SEGURA is an industrial group specialised in the design, development and industrialisation of metal parts and components for the automotive industry, mainly through stamping and welding processes.

We currently have 1500 employees, distributed in the different plants located in Almussafes (Spain), Vigo (Spain), Szolnok (Hungary), Treuenbrietzen and Eisenach (Germany) in addition to its headquarters in Paterna (Spain).

We continue to move forward, and we have opened a stable vacancy for a Corporate Supplier Quality Manager located in our Almussafes plants.

MISSION

Your main objective will be to support the Quality department in the development of the current suppliers of the Segura Group by participating in the development and execution of:

  1. The approval of new suppliers of raw materials, components and outsourcing so that they can form part of the Company's supplier panel.
  2. Continuous evaluation of production suppliers. Managing and controlling the application of quality standards, as well as compliance with deadlines and deliveries at suppliers, minimising incidents caused by their processes, with the aim of improving customer satisfaction and minimising the impact of their products on the company's production plants. Monitor supplier complaints, monitor supplier charges and initiate action plans for their development.
  3. Report monthly supplier performance to operational and purchasing management.
  4. Provide support to different areas such as Purchasing, Quality and Logistics by being informed, or acting as intermediary, in any relationship between these actors as required by the areas and as efforts can be coordinated.

FUNCTIONS

Some of the responsibilities you will carry out will be:

Initial approval of suppliers

Auditing the processes together with SGC as technical support for the initial audit of the introduction of new suppliers in the suppliers' panel, as well as in the audits to be carried out and the closing of actions of the Non-Conformities derived from the audit.

Continuous evaluation of suppliers

Responsible for the follow-up and management of the action plans derived from the results of the monthly Purchasing evaluations.

Plan and request annual product audits for each of the processes / parts manufactured at our suppliers in order to know and ensure compliance with the defined quality characteristics.

Monitor supplier trends in terms of complaints and launch / follow up / request improvement action plans with the aim of reducing incidents and increasing customer satisfaction.

Prepare a plan of periodic visits to suppliers with the aim of ensuring compliance with manufacturing standards at their plants and the level / quality requirements of our customers, taking into consideration the occasional increase in complaints. Before any visit plan or specific visits, the objective of the visit must be previously agreed and defined with the purchasing, logistics and quality department staff.

Non-conformities (Internal-External) Quality / Logistics.

Provide support in the 8D analysis and follow-up of supplier actions until they are closed, visit the supplier if necessary to validate actions or due to specific increases in non-conformities.

You will be an intermediary in the relationship between the productive supplier / components / raw material and F.Segura offering support in both directions, trying to ensure the relationship between both actors.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

In order to evaluate your application it is essential:

  1. Minimum training in Mechanical Industrial Engineering or similar
  2. Availability to travel 50% of the time
  3. Experience in a similar position in the automotive sector of more than four years.
  4. Auditor / Independent experience in VDA 6.3 audits.
  5. Proven experience in methodologies and problem solving.
  6. Certified Quality Core Tools or proven experience.
