Job Purpose

The successful candidate will have previous experience working as an Account Director or equivalent at an award-winning marketing agency. You are detail-oriented and will be able to bridge the gap between our Business Development and Operations teams.

We need you to be able to support our team, motivate and direct them, and influence most when you’re in the room convincing a client why they need to commit. It’s important you have previous experience managing a team, raising the bar of the team and influencing them on how to pitch to clients, ensuring world-class work at all times. As well as monitoring and ensuring the BD team are meeting their KPIs.

You will occasionally support our Business Development team win business. That business should generally be in the form of campaigns rather than just rewards alone. We want to be selling rewards, creative dressing, digital interfaces and evaluation. Some of our people need training in this from a respected, successful agency “pro”. That’s you.

It involves identifying new business opportunities as well as growing exciting relationships with clients to achieve further sales and maximise revenue for TLC.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop Business Development team performance
  • Drive new business across rewards, creative solutions, digital interfaces, and campaign evaluation
  • Bridge Business Development and Operations teams
  • Identify and maximize new business opportunities
  • Support client relationship development and revenue generation

  • 5+ years Account Director in award-winning marketing agency
  • Strategic thinker with proven client relationship management
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Business campaign pitching expertise
  • Marketing agency, media sales, and digital marketing background
  • Commercially driven, proactive problem solver
  • Ability to develop new business and demonstrate ROI
  • Confident, professional, and self-motivated
  • Expert in consultative client engagement
