In this position, you will closely work with the IT HR Strategic Product Portfolio Architect, the IT HR Architects, IT HR Product Managers and Owners, other Nestlé IT streams (Enterprise Architecture, Security, Platforms, Analytics, Data & Integration, etc.), offshore delivery teams and with vendors such as SAP, IBM, UKG, Microsoft, etc. to bring deep expertise and knowledge to:
What you’ll do
The IT HR Solution Architect is responsible and accountable for defining, documenting, and getting the required approvals related to the design of new solutions in all aspects related to Technical Architecture, Application Security, Integrations Design, Securing Data in Motion and Data at Rest.
If the solution evolves in any of the areas mentioned above, the IT HR Solution Architect is responsible and accountable for reviewing the design, documenting the changes, and getting the approvals for their implementation.
The IT HR Solution Architect would also support Product Managers, Product Owners, and project teams when required during RFP processes of new solutions, assessing the Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) of the solutions, reviewing the Cloud Solution assessments, providing information related to non-functional technical requirements, and during the final solution architecture review and specific project phases (such as cutovers or testing phases).
The IT HR Solution Architect will regularly work with IT HR Product Managers and Owners, Solution Architects, and the IT HR offshore delivery team to provide a full view of IT HR system landscape utilization and highlight and manage potential conflicts between projects, sustain and maintenance activities.
The IT HR Solution Architect will monitor the current-state solution portfolio to identify deficiencies through the aging of the technologies used by the solutions and will define the strategy to upgrade/change them.
The IT HR Solution Architect will work regularly with Nestlé IT Security, Nestlé IT Platforms, Nestlé Workforce 360, Nestlé IT Innovation IT HR, offshore delivery team, and vendors such as SuccessFactors, SAP, IBM, UKG, Microsoft, etc. to evolve the IT HR system landscape in a secure and efficient manner according to Nestlé systems architecture standards.
The IT HR Solution Architect will also develop Architecture Building Blocks (ABB), Solution Building Blocks, and solution patterns aligned to the overall Nestlé Enterprise Architecture and IT HR Product Groups strategy to leverage the reusability, security, compliance, and acceleration these architecture elements will bring to the organization while ensuring that product-based decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision.
In case of complex technical problems faced by the solution sustain teams, the IT HR Solution Architect will support the investigation of the root causes of the problems and recommend the best possible solution.
The IT HR Solution Architect will also support defining and setting up the appropriate tools to proactively monitor the system performance and availability/stability of the different solutions and optimize them while working together with systems vendors and with Nestlé IT teams such as IT Network, IT Platforms, and IT Workforce 360.
The IT HR Solution Architect will also provide support to IT HR Product Managers and Owners on the planning and preparation of volume stress testing on IT HR systems to secure their stability and scalability.
The IT HR Solution Architect will closely work with IT HR Product Managers and Owners on developing Disaster Recovery Plans together with the systems vendors.
In summary, you will work closely with the IT HR Strategic Product Portfolio Architect, IT HR Product Managers and Architects, DevOps teams, technical experts, and suppliers to ensure that the value planned in the Product Groups roadmaps will be delivered in the most optimal way according to the product strategy and the overall value-for-money objectives linked to business strategy.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, System Analysis, or a related study, or equivalent experience.
10+ years’ experience in IT implementation and delivery projects.
5+ years’ experience as a Solution Architect in the HR domain on projects or activities related to solutions such as:
Strong experience in managing SAP, SuccessFactors, and SAP Business Technology Platform architecture and landscape performance.
Strong experience or background in IT security applied to system integrations (Basic Authentication, OAuth 2.0, Single Sign-On, IP masking, secure/encrypted connections to SFTP servers, etc.).
Experience or background in Data Privacy regulations (such as GDPR).
Excellent understanding of application development methodologies & infrastructure and network architecture.
Good understanding of new and emerging technology trends and their practical application to new and evolving business and operating models.
Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
Ability to translate future-state business capabilities and requirements into solution architecture requirements.
Ability to propose and estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives.
Ability to understand the long-term ('big picture') and short-term perspectives of situations.
Experience in implementing DevSecOps in IT products and supporting agile project teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact, and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt.
Bonus Points if you:
Knowledgeable about the following solutions would be positively considered: ServiceNow, WalkMe, UKG Dimensions, Confluent, Automation / RPA tools, Testing automation tools.
Familiar with AI foundations, AI prompting, HR use cases, responsible AI concepts, and solutions available from vendors such as SAP, SuccessFactors, Microsoft, Open AI, and ServiceNow.
Comfortable interacting with vendors and offshore team members daily, providing status updates.
Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English.
Experience working in a global and diverse environment and with virtual teams.
Autonomous, proactive cooperation, with initiative, problem-solving oriented, and focused on results.
