Job Description:

Joining our Property & Network Development Team in Madrid, you will be in charge of the successful and efficient roll-out of the new Pandora store concept, as well as the construction and fit out of our new stores in Spain and Portugal.

WHAT YOU’LL DO :

  • Manage the site surveys for new openings as well as remodeling projects.
  • Prepare the brief for each new location and raise the potential key constraints of the premise to enable the kick-off of the Store design phase.
  • Coordinate the store design with Global Store Design team to ensure the final drawings take into the premise specificities and the legal market constraints.
  • Manage the tendering process and GC selection.
  • Create schedule for the projects and share it with internal and external parties.
  • Manage and monitor project schedules within budget guidelines.
  • Manage trustful relationships with suppliers and external parties.
  • Consolidate, communicate and manage all issues and risks affecting the project.
  • Communicate project status across all relevant departments to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Monitor and evaluate vendor performance during the construction phase.
  • Report on progress through all stages with team manager and project’s internal stakeholders.
  • Manage handover of new stores to the retail team.
  • Lead post-project analyses, adapt and optimize existing methods.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

  • Technical degree (civil engineering, construction management, architecture…).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a retail construction role, preferably in fast-moving retail.
  • Extensive project management experience and excellent understanding of the total project lifecycle, from dealing with new contractors and partners, through the handover stage.
  • Must be structured, organized and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent verbal and written Spanish; operational level of English is required. French or Portuguese would be a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, in full and within budget.
  • Ability to find creative solutions to complex issues.
