Qualification:
· Proven experience as a Senior Cook or similar role in a high-volume kitchen, preferably in a resort or hotel setting.
· Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized culinary institution is preferred.
· Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
· Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
· Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
· Must reside near Brgy. Hugom, San Juan Laiya, Batangas, or be willing to stay in.
Responsibilities include:
· Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and guest specifications.
· Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely and efficient manner to maintain guest satisfaction.
· Assist in developing and refining menu items, including daily specials.
· Monitor food stock levels and assist with ordering, receiving, and storage of ingredients.
· Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and report any maintenance issues.
· Conduct regular checks to ensure that food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards are strictly followed.
· Assist in supervising and training junior kitchen staff, including line cooks and kitchen assistants.
· Provide guidance on cooking techniques, kitchen safety, and best practices.
· Foster a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.
