Solutions Engineer

Solutions Engineers collaborate with internal teams crafting and implementing enterprise-level solutions for TransPerfect´s international portfolio of clients using the GlobalLink suite of products. They act as the clients’ main technical point of contact, working closely with Solutions Architects and Developers on the technical aspects of implementation.

Main responsibilities :

1. Work in conjunction with the Solutions Architects team to gather and analyze configuration requirements from clients
2. Draft project plans containing the implementation details and timelines, including risk analysis
3. Ensure the deadlines for implementation are met
4. Coordinate the installation, set-up and upgrade of GlobalLink connectors with internal teams and client system integrators
5. Coordinate and verify the configuration tasks in GlobalLink tools based on client requirements
6. Act as the primary technical point of contact and point of technical escalation for both internal teams and external clients
7. Assist the support team with any client configuration issues
8. Be involved in the lifecycle of GlobalLink products by working closely with the Product Management team, reporting client technical issues and requesting new functionalities for products based on direct client exposure
9. Assist clients with the coordination of GlobalLink connectors upgrades
10. Become the spokesperson of the team for one or more of the GlobalLink products if desired
11. Deploy, troubleshoot and upgrade the GlobalLink suite of products
12. Create custom reports for clients in MySQL
13. Mentor new team members as needed
14. Prepare trainings and procedures to contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's work
15. Provide trainings as needed to clients
16. Contribute to internal projects
17. Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the supervisor

Essential skills and experience required :

1. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent
2. Superior written and spoken communication skills in English
3. Strong interpersonal skills
4. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
5. Understanding of Scripting and Regular Expressions
6. Knowledge of SQL and API / Postman
7. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a client-facing role
8. Project management and client solution implementation experience
9. Experience troubleshooting technical issues and reading logs
10. Experience working with web technologies (web servers, application servers, Tomcat, etc.)
11. Experience with Linux
12. Understanding of and/or exposure to Web Content Management Systems (Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, Drupal, etc.), eCommerce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP (Hybris), Magento, etc.) and other Content Management Systems (Veeva, Contentful, etc.)
