The Role

We are seeking a Solution Enablement Director (Global Practice Director) either from within our organization or externally, to focus on the areas of MES, Data Works, and Sustainability. Major responsibility is to work closely with our Enterprise Solution Consultants (ESCs) and/or Regional Solution Consultants (SCs) providing solution and services execution plans including large, combined solutions that include any of the mentioned areas. The role also includes working closely with Professional Services, Product Management, and the Partner Group. This person will confirm the scope, deliverables, and timeline of all proposals in the responsibility areas and be accountable for their approval in SalesForce.

This is a unique position for an exceptional Consultant to take on a global role of high visibility supporting both the organization internally and at the same time work closely with our customers and deployment partners using our suite of MES and DW technologies, showing strategic understanding assessing requirements, system setup, data validation, and data analytics:

Your Impact

1. Primarily working with our AspenTech MES and Data Works technology, including presentation layers like Aspen Inmation and A1PE and others.
2. Solution credibility to gather data/document and summarize client requirements and address the business process issues that AspenTech solutions will address.
3. Design integrated solutions which will benefit the customer on the process issues at hand, as well being ready for scalability and sustainability.
4. Assist the sales organization and Services management team in preparing and delivering complex bids and proposals to our clients.
5. Support growth of the business in both License and Services Bookings at all times.
6. Support project teams including our partners to ensure projects achieve stated milestones, delivery dates, and financial goals.
7. Maintain and extend client satisfaction levels and develop opportunities for additional AspenTech solutions.
8. Work cooperatively with the AspenTech extended team in Sales, Support, CSM, R&D, and Partners to ensure successful project delivery and completion.
9. Work with the Partner Group and be accountable for the technical assessment of all DSP applicants as well as accountability for the internal or external deployment resources for services projects.
10. Be on the core team of new product launch within the related area of expertise.
11. Does require internal travel of expected two trips per Q.

What You'll Need

1. Bachelor’s degree in related area or 15+ years of experience in optimization, data analysis, system integration, and interfacing, from DCS to ERP systems, including User Interfaces and presentation layers.
2. Background with MES concepts and technology will be required for this role.
3. Understanding of data integration, data lake and data warehouse technology, networking, cybersecurity, and data analytics are required.
4. Understanding of low-level data acquisition systems is required.
5. Fast learner with a desire/motivation to learn cutting-edge new technologies.
6. A team player with the ability to relate to customers and maintain good working relationships.
7. Good spoken and written skills in the English language.
8. Experience with AspenTech technologies is a definite plus.
9. Experience with other AspenTech technologies (APC, SCM, or GDOT) to ensure data integration and KPI presentation is a definite plus but not a requirement.
10. Other languages a definite asset but not a requirement.
11. Ability to obtain a corporate AMEX and travel globally.
