Software Engineer Senior, Madrid

At EY wavespace Madrid, we are looking for an energetic Software Engineer with a passion for providing the best product applications to our clients, focusing on developing the best software architecture and delivering world-class code. You need to be a team player working as a core member of a multidisciplinary and cross-functional team with end-to-end responsibility for selected applications and services. Close collaboration within and across the teams and with the clients will be of utmost importance for you. You will have a broad and diverse set of competencies that allow you to develop, operate, and maintain the application through highly automated and standardized quick feedback loops and application monitoring. As we follow Agile and DevOps principles, you will be asked to leverage cutting-edge practices to lead self-organizing teams to deliver software that does exactly what is needed.

Key Requirements:

1. Expertise in server-side technologies like Python/Django, NodeJS, or Java SpringBoot
2. Expertise in frontend technologies like Javascript and Typescript with frameworks such as Angular 8+ (preferred), React, or Vue
3. Familiarity with SOAP / RESTful APIs
4. Repository management capabilities (GIT)
5. Microsoft tech stack knowledge or Azure Cloud required
6. Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field
7. Fluency in English with excellent oral/written communication skills
8. Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a similar position

Optional Requirements:

1. Containerization technologies and CI/CD expertise (Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Ansible, OpenShift, etc.)
2. Database management (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MariaDB)
3. Non-SQL Databases (MongoDB, ElasticSearch, CosmosDB, Solr)
4. Cloud environment services management, integration architectures definition, deployment (preferably Microsoft Azure)
5. Azure/Microsoft certifications
6. DevOps principles and methodologies
