As an ad tech engineer, you will be responsible for developing, scaling and maintaining new ad products. You will work in the front and back ends of the application - we use Javascript, React, GraphQL. You will support the team with diagramming, documenting, reading, researching, and writing code related to the delivery, rendering, and monetization of digital ad products.
About You - Required skills/experience
You are a software engineer with 8+ years of experience.
Comfortable developing with JavaScript and Node.js, good understanding of React, TypeScript, and unit testing with Jest.
Professional experience using source control: Git, GitHub.
Experienced with HTML and CSS.
Understanding of Cloud infrastructure - AWS, Terraform, CI/CD, YAML.
Familiarity with SQL.
You are someone who will own every step of the development process; from technical decisions, agile ticket refinement, to shipping code to production.
You'll do your best, and ask for help when needed.
You try to make the codebase nicer for the next person that visits.
You can communicate effectively through a variety of media (Slack, Zoom, email, and in-person meetings).
Able to effectively communicate technical concepts to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
Business proficiency in spoken and written English.
Experience working with international teams across multiple time-zones.
Exposure to working in online advertising technologies would be a plus (Google Publisher Tag, Programmatic bidding: Prebid, Amazon TAM).
