As a Software Deployment Technician, you will manage the technical aspects of several deployment projects, being in direct contact with our clients, mostly in Germany. In each project, your main duties will be deploying, configuring, QA and maintaining on-premise products.

Company : Barcelona-based deep tech company specializing in AI-driven Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software, enhancing operational efficiency in port logistics by automating data extraction from images and videos.

Responsibilities

• You and our Project Managers will be dealing directly with our clients, mostly in Germany; you will need to understand the specific technical problems of their demands.
• You will need to document installations and hardware components as well as guarantee that the installed AllRead software keeps functioning at peak performance and accuracy.
• You will need to take full ownership of our software, understand all its features, how they are commonly employed, and how to troubleshoot common problems.
• You will be responsible for deploying, customizing, and monitoring on-premises solutions and providing support for each different client.

Work Schedule

You will be able to organize your own schedule with flexibility. The regular schedule is 9 to 18h with an hour for lunch; however, we don’t focus on time spent; we believe in mutual trust and work results.

Work Location

You will work 100% remote. If you live near Barcelona or want to step by, the office is located in Norrsken House Barcelona, Passeig del Mare Nostrum 15. With beautiful and modern offices next to the sea, in the heart of the technological, innovative, and entrepreneurial ecosystem of Barcelona.

Qualifications

• Fluency in German is a must, as well as a high level of English.
• 2 / 3 years of professional experience working with Linux / Unix systems.
• Experience in software deployment, maintaining, and / or providing technical support.
• Experience in technical projects involving on-premise installations and interaction with clients; experience in remote environments, VPN tools, server configuration, and bash.
• Strong communication abilities; autonomous and team player.
• Familiarity with the usage of Python for scripting purposes.

Nice to Have

• Experience with tools like Docker, Docker-compose, and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience working with Computer Vision projects and familiarity with CCTV camera interfaces is a plus.
• Familiarity with JIRA and Agile processes is a plus.
