Location

We have an office in Madrid (Gran Vía), and we’re also open to considering full remote from anywhere in Spain.

Full-Time under our Spanish entity, compliant with local laws and taxation.

Seniority

Senior (5+ years). A PhD title recognized by Spanish authorities is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Keep and evolve our cloud infrastructure. Help us go IaC.
• Drive projects to empower the rest of the teams.
• Eliminate toil from your team and others.
• Share knowledge and remove silos by creating and maintaining documentation.
• Keep End-to-end ownership. You build it. You run it.
• Participate in paid on-call shifts (Once a month-ish).
• Introduce new ideas and technologies to the teams.
• Lead by example with best practices and battle-tested patterns.
• Test for reliability.
• Manage holistic changes and releases.

About You

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Provable experience shipping high-quality code.
• Proven, extensive experience as a software engineer.
• Ability to succeed in an all English environment (minimum Cambridge C1 level or equivalent).
• Proven experience using platforms like Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Experience with MongoDB, MySQL, and Redis.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools.
• Experience working within a team and references to back it.
• Educational background: Hold a STEM PhD degree recognized by Spanish authorities.

Preferred Experience

We highly value candidates with the following experiences:

• Cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• NextJS, NodeJS, Express, NestJS.
• OpenAI API.
• Blockchain.
