Germains, líder en mejora de semillas, busca un Jefe de Planta cualificado para unirse a su equipo en España. Como Jefe de Planta en Germains, desempeñará un papel crucial en la supervisión de las operaciones diarias, la aplicación y el mantenimiento de las normas de seguridad y el impulso de la mejora continua en la tecnología de semillas. Tendrá la oportunidad de aplicar sus conocimientos y experiencia para hacer frente a los retos y dirigir a un equipo de trabajadores entregados, proporcionándoles orientación y ayudándoles a alcanzar un alto nivel de rendimiento. Su liderazgo será fundamental para elevar nuestros estándares operativos y contribuir a la misión de Germains de mejorar el rendimiento de las semillas para los clientes de todo el mundo.

Responsabilidades clave:

  1. Supervisar y mantener las especificaciones de producción/proceso mediante una gestión cuidadosa de los equipos y controles.
  2. Garantizar el cumplimiento de los procedimientos de seguridad establecidos e implementar mejoras cuando sea necesario.
  3. Garantizar que los empleados reciben la formación adecuada y son conscientes de sus responsabilidades.
  4. Identificar y resolver problemas operativos complejos, aplicando soluciones que mejoren la productividad y la eficiencia.
  5. Diseñar, implantar y gestionar un programa de mantenimiento claro y eficaz para todos los equipos y el edificio en España.
  6. Revisar, planificar, acordar y gestionar los gastos de producción y los gastos de capital de acuerdo con los presupuestos y planes.
  7. Colaborar eficazmente con clientes y proveedores para resolver cualquier problema o inquietud y garantizar que las solicitudes de capital de operaciones se preparan minuciosamente.

Tu perfil:

  1. Deseable licenciatura en un área relevante.
  2. Amplia experiencia en fabricación/operaciones, especialmente en operaciones de equipos de producción/proceso.
  3. Sólidas dotes de liderazgo con capacidad para gestionar y motivar a un equipo de profesionales.
  4. Profundo conocimiento de los procedimientos de seguridad y control de calidad en un entorno industrial.
  5. Excelentes aptitudes para la resolución de problemas, especialmente para cuestiones complejas, y capacidad para trabajar de forma independiente y tomar decisiones críticas.

Escribir y hablar español con fluidez es esencial.

Germains, is a leader in seed enhancement and is seeking a skilled Site Manager to join their team in Spain. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative seed treatment processes, with the goal of improving efficiency and quality in our production environment.

As our Site Manager at Germains, you will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day operations, implementing, and maintaining safety standards, and driving continuous improvement in seed technology. You will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and experience to address challenges and lead a team of dedicated workers providing guidance helping them achieve a high level of performance. Your leadership will be instrumental in elevating our operational standards and contributing to Germains' mission of enhancing seed performance for customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and maintain production/process specifications through careful management of equipment and controls.
  2. Ensure adherence to established safety procedures and implement improvements where necessary.
  3. Ensure employees are appropriately trained and aware of their responsibilities.
  4. Identify and resolve complex operational issues, implementing solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency.
  5. Design, implement and manage a clear and effective maintenance program for all equipment and the building in Spain.
  6. Review, plan, agree and manage the production expense and capital expenditure in line with budgets and plans.
  7. Effectively engage with customers and suppliers to resolve any issues or concerns and ensure operations capital requests are prepared thoroughly.

What You'll Bring:

  1. Desirable bachelor's degree in a relevant area.
  2. Extensive experience in manufacturing/operations, particularly in production/process equipment operations.
  3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team of professionals.
  4. In-depth knowledge of safety procedures and quality control in an industrial setting.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills, especially for complex issues and the ability to work independently and make critical decisions.
