Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Service Now Developer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing IT Service Management solutions tailored to our organization's needs. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in ITSM platforms/Service Now, a deep understanding of software development principles, and excellent problem-solving skills. You will be working in close collaboration with the Functional Analysts and Product Owners.

Key Responsibilities

1. Comprehending the functional requirements from the Functional Analyst and translating them to technical solutions. Making sure users understand and are satisfied with the configurations.
2. Develop and customize Service Now to optimize service delivery and streamline workflows.
3. Implement automation and integration solutions to enhance efficiency within the ITSM framework.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ITSM systems.
5. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in ITSM and software development.
6. Coordinating regularly with stakeholders, the Product Owners, and the Functional Analysts.
7. Taking ownership and doing close follow up on project/s assigned, ensuring targets are met.
8. Performs technical analysis, design, configuration, and implementation support for system integrations.
9. Help mentor junior developers in relation to technical design standards and implementation best practices.
10. Write, test, analyze and implement high quality code according to specifications.

Educational / Skill / Experience Requirements

1. Degree in IT/IT related fields or equal by experience.
2. Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
3. Proven experience as a Service Now Developer or in a similar role.
4. Proficiency in ITSM platforms such as Cherwell, ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar systems.
5. Strong programming skills in languages like JavaScript, Python, or Java.
6. Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices. ITIL certified would be a plus.
7. Being a team player and flexible.
8. Excellent English communication skills (verbal and writing).
9. Proactive and can-do attitude.
