We are looking for Senior Technical Safety, whose main functions will be:

• Preparation and review of deliverables related to Technical Safety/Environmental, including Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Management Plans, HSE philosophies/Specifications, HAZOP Management and review, SIL Determination, Hazardous Area Classification, Consequence analysis, BAT/ALARP studies, QRA, FESA, COMAH, Noise Specification, Noise Report Management, Emission Modelling Report, and Flare Assessment.
• Participate in workshops as Technical Safety/Environmental Engineer to advise on technical safety related aspects at HAZOP, HAZID, 3D Model Review, HFE Review, and Construction HAZID.
• Ensure compliance with international and specific country legal requirements.
• Facilitate HAZOP, HAZID, SIL Determination, ALARP, and ERP Workshops.
• Perform radiation and dispersion modeling using Flaresim software (or similar) and review the simulations and analyses.
• Monitor manhour budget and prepare weekly workplan and update project progress.
• Ensure the schedule and deliverables dates are met with high-quality deliverables.
• Prepare specifications, RFI/RFP, and TBE for technical safety items.

Skills / Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical discipline or equivalent.
• Experience with ADNOC/ARAMCO/QATAR normative.
• 8-12 years of working experience as a Technical Safety Specialist with experience in EPC or Engineering Companies.
• Significant experience in engineering design of oil and gas facilities.
• Able to work on a project with minimum supervision.
• A strong background in onshore/offshore facility and brownfield project experience is an advantage.
• Proven skills in Physical Effects Modeling and Quantitative Risk Assessment, with experience in PHAST, FLARESIM, ALOHA, EFFECTS, EXsilentia software or similar.
• Effective communicator who can influence key stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge on Hazardous area classification, SCE/PS, EERA, FERA, and other loss prevention analysis and risk assessment.
• Knowledgeable in technical safety design standards such as NFPA, EPA, NIOSH, IP, ISO, ASME, API, etc. Additional knowledge in Russian Normative is an advantage.
