Senior Structural Engineer|Building Projects - (FIN400)

Job Description
The AECOM Madrid Design Office is currently looking for a Structural Engineer to join our experienced and talented team working on important projects across the world. We are looking for someone interested in developing within the structures discipline to continue and enhance our building and viaduct work. This is an opportunity to gain valuable experience in different designs, standards and become part of a growing international team.

Responsibilities

1. Structural calculations and design.
2. Creating of calculation and project narrative documentation.
3. Specification creation and editing.
4. Finite Element analysis modelling incorporated into BIM platforms.
5. Structural discipline leadership in small projects.
6. Interdisciplinary coordination.

Qualifications
Structural & MSc Civil Engineer with at least 5 years' experience in Structural Design/Calculations for Building Engineering projects.
Fluent in English and Spanish languages.
Experience in the following is desired:

1. CYPE (Embedded retaining walls / Steel sheet pilings)
2. MIDAS-Civil
3. STATIK / CEDRUS (Cubus) / ETABS / SAP2000 / FAGUS (Cubus)
4. Structural Bridge Design / Sam (AutoDesk) / AutoCAD
5. Excel, Presto
6. BIM platforms - REVIT

Codes/Standards: Spanish National Codes, AASHTO/ACI/ASTM, Eurocodes.
Availability for occasional travel.
