Senior Solutions Architect, Alexa EU Enterprise

In this role, you will work with some of the top enterprise companies across Europe to develop and integrate AI experiences that will wow customers using the latest Alexa services.

Your responsibilities will include owning key technical relationships and driving the success of enterprise projects with Alexa. You will be the “face of Amazon” with key partners and drive discussions with senior technical leaders / CxO in those organizations. You will also be able to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges and map the intersection of partner needs and Amazon priorities. This role requires both excellent communication skills as well as the technical background to fluently interact and provide guidance to software developers and architects.

You must have a high degree of hands-on development experience, being able to code in Java and/or other programming languages.

Key job responsibilities

1. Provide technical consultation to strategic enterprise customers. This includes API integrations, as well as the design, creation, and deployment of applications using Alexa technologies such as Alexa Smart Properties.
2. Actively identify opportunities to deliver experiences that demonstrate what is possible on Amazon devices and services.
3. Build and showcase unique, compelling, and exciting demonstrations of new Amazon technologies.
4. Deliver persuasive, passionate, high-impact presentations to senior decision makers and large groups of technical and business leaders.
5. Document best practices and create development resources that can be used by other developers.
6. Engage with Partners by speaking at events, meet-ups, and webinars.

About the team

The Alexa EU Enterprise team defines, delivers, and integrates Alexa experiences for enterprise customers. The team drives engagements for Alexa Smart Properties in Europe and integrates Echo into environments such as Hotel Resorts and Senior Living environments.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
2. Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
3. Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
2. Experience working with end-user or developer communities.
3. Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS.
