Job Description:
At this stage, we are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect. This role targets a strategic profile, focused on designing solutions aligned to business needs.

Main responsibilities:
Reporting to the Global Enterprise Architecture Manager at Ferrovial, you will:
Strategic Thinking
- Ability to understand business needs and elaborate an architecture vision.
- Critical thinking to prioritize solutions that add business value.
- Propose different alternatives with the rationale and tradeoffs behind each solution.
- Be able to take decisions, even in complex scenarios, and provide a recommendation.
Architecture Design
- Design architectures aligned with business needs, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Define integration standards (APIs, events, queues, etc.) with different systems.
- Optimize existing solutions via process automation (using Power Platform, AI agents, others).
- Apply best practices for monitoring, cost management, and compliance.
- Work in an iterative approach.
Accountability
- Responsible for designing architectures on your own for different development teams.
- Responsible for supervising third-party architecture delivery on time and cost.
Communication Skills
- Act as a bridge between business users, development teams, and vendors.
- Clear communication to interact with non-technical areas (e.g., sales, finance).
- Prepare high-level documentation (strategy, architecture diagrams, design decisions).
Requirements:
- University degree: Higher Engineering (Computer Science, Telecommunications or similar)
- At least 3 years’ experience as Solution Architect is a MUST. This is an architect position; we are not searching for system administrator profiles (DBAs, cloud engineers, or similar roles for this specific opportunity).
- Proven experience designing different architecture solutions and platforms.
- Ability to work in multivendor environments (Microsoft, SAP, Salesforce, Workday, etc.).
- It will be highly valuable that you have experience in SAP RISE environments (SAC, BW, SAP4/HANA).
- Demonstrated ability leading technical teams and aligning different areas.
- Desirable: good level of English to have fluent conversations with native speakers.
