Freelance Jira Senior API Developer | Spain-Based | 100% Remote

We are looking for an experienced Jira Senior API Developer with deep expertise in DataCenter-level programming using the Java API. This is a freelance, 100% remote opportunity, but you must be based in Spain and fluent in Spanish & English.

What You’ll Do:

1. Develop and customize Jira at a low level in DataCenter, using the Java API (not just REST APIs as in Cloud).
2. Link DataCenter actions through JIRA-CORE programming.
3. Optimize Jira workflows, automation, and integrations.
4. Work with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance.

What You Need:

1. Strong experience in Java API programming for Jira DataCenter.
2. Deep understanding of Jira-Core programming (beyond REST APIs).
3. Proven experience in backend development and system integration.
4. Familiarity with Atlassian SDK, Jira plugins, and customizations.
5. Fluent in Spanish & English.
6. Spain-based (mandatory).
