Senior Account Executive - German Speaking (Hybrid)

Basic : €60,000 – €70,000 + €110,000-€120,000 OTE (uncapped)

Company : Global SaaS Vendor with over 30,000 employees globally

Are you an experienced sales professional comfortable with both new business and account management? Have you sold SaaS / Software / Tax / Fintech / Compliance / Risk / Information Solutions? Are you fluent in German & English?

The company is a Global SaaS Vendor with a reputation for being a market leader with award-winning solutions. With over 30k employees, and an average employee tenure of 8.5 years and a client list of the most recognizable names, you will be in good hands. Their solutions help companies navigate the complex corporate legal, financial and compliance landscape with offerings around FinTech, legal, tax, trade, reporting and compliance to name a few. You will be selling a portfolio of industry-leading solutions focused on supporting mid-market clients with their day-to-day operations.

They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Executive - German Speaking to join their team and help to expand their key account base in the DACH region.

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales growth with new business customers as well as cross-selling and upselling into existing relationships. Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention for their corporate customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies, acquire new customers, and maximize revenue from existing accounts. As well as target a strategic new business target list of prospective customers.

It carries a monthly and annual sales quota based on new business sales through targeted upsell and cross-sell campaigns. So the ability to navigate complex accounts is essential as well as being able to demonstrate self-sufficient success and the ability to find, manage and close high-value deals.

About The Role :

  1. Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base
  2. Collaborate with account specialists, solution consultants, product specialists, and marketing teams to create effective sales and renewal strategies
  3. Act as a customer advocate within the company
  4. Meet or exceed established goals, KPIs, and performance metrics
  5. Drive new customer acquisition through strategic sales initiatives
  6. Identify, pursue, and close new sales opportunities within assigned territory or market segment
  7. Upsell and cross-sell to existing customers to maximize revenue
  8. Foster strong, long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  9. Lead customer meetings and develop presentations for complex sales opportunities
  10. Understand customer business needs and challenges
  11. Present tailored solutions demonstrating how our products solve specific problems
  12. Work closely with solution consultants to develop tailored solutions

About You :

  1. MBA or relevant degree - preferred
  2. 3+ years of experience in Mid Market or enterprise account management or sales in the software / technology industry
  3. Experience of selling relevant SaaS solutions such as FinTech, Tax, Compliance, Risk, Financial Automation
  4. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  5. Strong understanding of AI and software technology products and services
  6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  7. Demonstrated ability in solution selling and strategic account planning
  8. Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
  9. Track record of developing and nurturing partner relationships
