Job Description:

Our client is a tech, fast-growing company that has developed a top product (cloud-based CRM platform which includes several integrated products for Marketing Automation, Sales, and Customer Support) that is revolutionizing the Hostelry & Tourism industry by boosting clients' ROIs. Their challenge is operability and scalability (People, Processes, and Talent are key). The mid-term Strategic Plan includes duplicating the current team (in Europe, US & Latam) and for that end, we are hiring a Senior Full-Stack Ruby Developer. Growth, yes, but enjoying the “meantime” through Balance & Positive Impact!

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work on the most exciting projects within the platform and suites of products, as part of a multi-cultural remote team of 7 developers and reporting to the CTO (who is one of the Founders of the company) and Dev Team Lead.

• By providing your strong technical and problem-solving skills, you will deliver high-quality and well-tested software, ensuring the technical solution complies with the architecture guidelines.
• You will consistently write code as a matter of pride because you are passionate about % test coverage, rock-solid code, learning, and technology.
• You will have the initiative to propose new tools/libraries/frameworks/best practices to improve the day-to-day of the team.

REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for a Senior Developer with at least 5 years of experience with Ruby, expert understanding of the Rails framework as well as exceptional Web Development skills. Technical Skills & Knowledge required:

• Ruby on Rails / RoR
• Proficient with relational databases and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
• Elasticsearch & Kibana.
• Experience in CRM, Marketing Automation platforms or tools -such as Hubspot, Salesforce, Mailchimp…- or in the Tourism / Hostelry industries is highly valuable.
