Senior QA Automation Engineer

We help them publish their trip offerings, generate leads and follow through to convert them to bookings, process payments around the world, pay suppliers / vendors, and digitize their operations. This helps multi-day travel organizers get more bookings, save time, and save money.

About the Role :

As a quality assurance engineer, you will be a part of a cross-functional product team of 5-7 people, where you will :

• Take ownership of your team's domain quality by proactively leading the testing plan for all layers of the testing pyramid.
• Create new automated tests where and when relevant (e.g. E2E, Load, Security, etc).
• Collaborate with the product development team (engineers and product managers) to understand business needs and define quality requirements.
• Guide the team in the field of automation, and help them create better tests.
• Lead bug bash sessions for new features.

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support an agile product development team.

Preferred Experience

• Good knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience working with test documentation (test cases, test plans, test scenarios, bug reports).
• Experience in automation and manual testing for APIs and Web Applications.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience with source control tools such as GIT.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills; written and spoken.

Nice to have :

• Experience of working as part of an Agile Software Development team.
• Experience testing microservices and cloud applications.
• A foundational understanding of SQL and databases.
• Experience with performance and security testing.
• Knowledge of contract testing.

We will be really excited if you also have :

• Experience working with containerized solutions (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience working with Xray Test Management.
• Experience in building automated test frameworks from scratch.
