Your role

In this role you work as a Senior Python Developer in one of our Squads with PO, UX/UI, other Flutter Developer and Backend Developers to build features for our LiveWell proposition. You will work on our AWS code written in Python.

Each Squad consists of a Product Owner (PO), UX/UI Designers, Frontend and Backend Developers, and QA.

As a Senior Python AWS Developer your main responsibilities will involve:

• Setting up, maintaining, and evolving the cloud infrastructure in AWS
• Building clean and efficient back-end features in Python
• Participating in the software development life cycle
• Designing and building scalable and highly available systems on AWS

Your Skills and Experience

As a Senior Python AWS Developer your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

• Designing and implementing scalable and reliable CI/CD pipelines to automate test, build and deployment process
• Ensuring system reliability and efficiency through monitoring and performance optimisation
• Optimising resource utilisation and cost management strategies across the infrastructure
• Proven record in building Python code for AWS services
• Familiarity with serverless architecture and Lambda functions
• Understanding of databases (DynamoDB and PostgreSQL) and SQL
• Configuring security and data protection settings on AWS
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues in a complex system
• An analytical mind
• Great attention to detail
• Essential experience working in a multicultural environment
• Fluency in English
