This role requires a combination of deep technical expertise in analog / mixed-signal CMOS IC design, a passion for innovation, and the drive to contribute to a groundbreaking project that will revolutionize the future of imaging. Responsibilities:
Detailed design, development, and optimization of image sensor pixel, PLL, CDS, ADC, and CMOS integrated circuits.
Documentation and analysis of chip design, simulation / layout, and test results of sensor and circuit performance.
Full process design from schematic and layout to verification and reliability testing of high speed, low noise circuits.
Develop and use advanced linear and nonlinear models or simulations techniques, translate between the model, simulation, physical implementation, and measured performance of a device.
Work within a group of Image Sensor design experts and be assigned to a sensor product team; interface with design management and module design teams to create the detailed specification, report design progress, and to collect, track, and resolve any performance and circuit design issues.
Preparation of materials for company presentations and additional duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a related field.
Analog or mixed signal CMOS circuit design (5+ years preferred).
Strong semiconductor physics & analog integrated circuit design capabilities.
Strong background in high-speed analog CMOS circuit design / sensor arrays (5+ years preferred).
Specific experience in CMOS image sensors (5+ years preferred).
Extensive experience using the Cadence Virtuoso and PVS.
Have a thorough understanding of basic solid semiconductor device physics.
Nice to have:
M.S. or Ph.D. would be an added plus.
Experience with low-noise analog design techniques.
Familiarity with sensor calibration and characterization.
Knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP) concepts related to image sensors.
