The Role / Opportunity

The Senior Production Planner (Poultry) will be responsible for preparing the detailed production plan based upon available forecast/actual sales order requirements. The production master schedule will establish effective utilization of processing and packing machine assets. The planner will monitor the plan throughout its cycle, communicating any necessary changes to the respective departments. They will review machine performance and recommend changes to run rates in conjunction with the processing and manufacturing departments, ensuring all agreed service levels are achieved for both internal and external customers. Any exceptions will be communicated promptly to allow for alternative supply.

Candidate must meet the following criteria to be shortlisted:

• Diploma degree in a relevant field.
• High numeracy, data rational, with strong analytical skills.
• At least 3 years of experience in a SAP R/3 environment.
• Experience in an FMCG environment.
