Senior Performance Analyst

From the banking division of Robert Walters, we are looking for a Senior Performance Analyst for an important international insurance company located in Madrid.

Role Description:

1. Calculation, measurement, analysing and monitoring of Performance and Risk KPI's for our clients and funds.
2. Deal with performance requests according to our reports and analysis and support headquarters in Basel, Switzerland with additional analysis.
3. Support daily monitoring for correct measurement and figures and identify, address and track anomalies.
4. Support testing and system configuration/requirements during onboarding processes in case of changing or new mandates.
5. Support in establishing new frameworks (e.g., GIPS) and reporting, especially in developing for our clients.
6. Collaboration and daily alignment with Performance Headquarters in Basel, Switzerland.

Knowledge and Competences:

1. Business administration with postgraduate training in performance analytics or relevant background or similar education.
2. Additional education such as CFA, CAIA or experience in GIPS is a plus.
3. Min. 3 years' experience in a similar role (investment performance analytics) in an asset manager (experience of an insurance company's asset manager will be a plus) or bank.
4. Strong English knowledge required; further languages are welcome.
5. Experience with Aladdin, SAP (BW and TRM) and broad experience with MS Excel are welcome.
6. Analytical skills, networked thinking, and a high degree of independence.
7. Self-starter mentality with high expectations of your own work, very precise and quality-conscious way of working.
8. Perseverance, willingness to take responsibility and strong communication skills.
9. Strong team player, thinking out of the box.
