Senior Operations Coordinator - Barcelona

The Group Finance team is called "PBRC" (Planning, Budget, Results, Central) and is based in two locations, in Paris & in Madrid.

This department is dedicated to analyzing, commenting, and reporting the financial information that is delivered to Group Management (Group CEO, Group CFO, and Group Board) and to external parties (mostly shareholders, analysts, auditors, and supervisors).

This department is under the control of the Group CFO of AXA Group.

PBRC is the owner of all major Finance processes at Group level and responsible for the analysis and monitoring of IFRS and Solvency 2 actual accounts and forecast analyses, and for the production of the Group annual report.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the direct manager in the control, analysis, and delivery of the S2P3 regulatory reporting.
2. Review and control the S2P3 quarterly and annual reporting, including contributions to the Group Solvency 2 reports (RSR and SFCR).
3. Demonstrate a good understanding of the accounting treatments, reporting, and disclosure requirements in both IFRS and S2P3.
4. Contribute to the IFRS closing on an ad-hoc basis (including Scope of Consolidation, Intercompany transactions, Foreign Exchange process, etc.).
5. Define Group timetable and instructions to ensure their correct application by entities.
6. Prepare internal regular syntheses.
7. Identify, facilitate, and implement processes and ideas to improve quality and efficiency.
8. Manage the audit trails and internal control framework with interactions with internal and external auditors.
9. Interact with other Group departments and entities.

Team Structure:

The Group Consolidation team is made of junior and senior Controllers based in Madrid under the supervision of the Head of the Consolidation team. Each controller is in charge of some specific transversal responsibilities.
