We recently launched digital banks and wallets in multiple markets to enhance our customers’ experiences with a cutting-edge digital ecosystem. As a Senior MuleSoft Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to establish core digital banking and wallet solutions globally while also mentoring and providing help to other junior associates.

• Mambu Cloud Banking platform, Mambu Process Orchestrator
• Marqeta for Card Issuing & processing
• Outsystems Platform for UI development
• GitLab, JIRA, Cloudbees, OpenSearch, Swaggerhub, Snowflake, Talend

Role Responsibilities

1. Lead work on innovative, actionable, and efficient technology solutions to drive API development and enhancements on the MuleSoft platform for the assigned region.
2. Demonstrate strong capabilities in assessing business needs while providing creative and effective solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards.
3. Execute to success through diligent planning, attention to detail, effective delegation, and efficient decision-making.
4. Interface and collaborate with other engineers in geographically distributed development centers.
5. Strong emphasis on customer journey, product quality, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous development.
6. Develop technical & domain expertise and apply it in solving product challenges.
7. Conduct thorough code reviews.
8. Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and roll out applications with cross-functional and cross-regional impacts.
9. Share engineering support and release.
10. Be a culture champion on the team and across the company.

Role Requirements

1. BS in Computer Science or related fields with 6+ years of professional experience or MS with 4+ years of experience.
2. Ability to lead technology projects and mentor junior associates.
3. Hands-on experience working with and managing the MuleSoft platform including Anypoint Studio, Exchange, and Connectors.
4. Proven track record of writing high-quality, efficient code to build new APIs or integrate various system functionalities using existing APIs.
5. Experience solving functional product needs by effectively leveraging the MuleSoft platform capabilities.
6. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing APIs using the MuleSoft platform.
7. Experience with agile development methodologies with Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI (Continuous Integration)/CD (Continuous Delivery).
8. Proven ability to understand the business and contribute to technology direction that drives measurable business improvements.
9. Experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks.
10. Ability to evaluate business needs and achieve alignment among stakeholders.
11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing both direct and indirect talent effectively.
12. Strong technical skills in architecture patterns, solutions design, and integration development.
13. Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, OOPs, and OOA/D.
14. Hands-on experience in building a microservices-based architecture and platform developed and deployed at scale.
15. Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative development environment and adapt to changing business priorities and thrive under pressure.
16. Team player with strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
17. Excellent decision-making, communication, and collaboration skills.
