Pactera EDGE, a global provider of technology and digital platform services, is looking for a Senior IT Administrator who will be working on global projects and supporting the European team’s activities and growth. The ideal candidates are tech professionals based in Barcelona, Spain.

Responsibilities:

  • Helpdesk support for European offices and operation.
  • Define, manage, and ensure the evolution of the systems architecture including hardware infrastructures, servers, and the rest of the network components.
  • Define and implement improvement and transformation projects and the systems’ architecture.
  • Follow-up and monitor the current systems (such as O365, Azure, Netapp, VMware).
  • Define action protocols in case of incidents of the company’s IT services and resolve them or escalate if needed.
  • Define and execute backup policies.
  • Manage suppliers and contracts for IT and phone services.
  • Work closely with the Infosec team to comply with policies, procedures, and internal controls related to ensuring the security of IT services.
  • Continuously update the business continuity plan and Disaster Recovery.
  • Maintain updated documentation of the IT procedures.
  • Manage the inventory and warranty of all IT assets in Europe.

Required:

  • Experience in VMware virtualization on NetApp.
  • Experience in Cloud Azure and AWS environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows OP.
  • Communication and dialogue skills with different corporate levels.
  • Experience in network administration.
  • Experience in administration of Office 365.
  • English proficiency sufficient to work in this language.
  • Primary Skills:
  • Desktop / Laptop support (Hardware / Software / Local Office Applications, Encryption, Security settings).
  • Active Directory.
  • Office Telecom and Voice Over IP knowledge.
  • Network and storage.
  • Basic Office 365 knowledge.
  • Asset Management (IT assets in and out and IT asset life cycle).
  • Vendor and supplier management.
  • Alarm management in the office (managing alarm PINs and availability 24h).
  • Onboarding and offboarding and Physical Office Access management (assigning card or fingerprint, also deleting users from system).

Good to have:

  • Cloud knowledge.
  • Virtual Machine knowledge.
