As a Senior II SRE, you will specialize in creating solutions that improve automation and efficiencies across all internal teams. You will drive automation, operational excellence, and support our customer-facing applications and infrastructure. This will require creative thinking combined with deep domain expertise in the areas of Linux systems administration, configuration management, performance tuning, and hardware engineering.

As a Senior II Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Providing support and mentorship for other Linux engineers within the department
• Defining requirements as part of the product lifecycle to influence the new designs and standards
• Providing support, leadership, and motivation for project teams
• Collaborating with our support, operations, and engineering teams to investigate and troubleshoot complex problems
• Improving our system monitoring and analysis platform to speed error detection and remediation, enhancing performance and reliability

To be successful in this role you will:

• Demonstrate at least LFCS certificate level of knowledge. Certificate is not required, but knowledge is mandatory
• Have relevant experience and a Bachelor's diploma in Engineering, Computer Science or its equivalent
• Possess expert level experience in an SRE, DevOps, Development, or SysAdmin role working with large scale distributed systems
• Possess deep knowledge of Linux Kernel, performance tuning, hardening services; knowledge about QEMU will be great
• Possess at least one programming language (Python / Golang) and configuration management with Terraform / SaltStack
• Have experience with architecting software, and infrastructure at scale
• Be able to work in alignment with strategic business initiatives and coordinate the work of other engineers
• Possess informed opinions on technology and software design to bring to the table
