Senior Frontend Engineer React

Join our dedicated product engineering team as we continue to evolve our onlyfy ATS product, designed to streamline the hiring process. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you’ll take a leading role in our transition from a Vue.js codebase to React, shaping the frontend architecture and optimizing performance. You’ll collaborate in an international, cross‐functional team, mentor colleagues, and directly influence how companies and candidates interact with our platform.

Your tasks:

• Lead and support our ongoing migration from Vue to React, ensuring a smooth transition and a scalable architecture.
• Develop and maintain new features within our monolithic environment, ensuring a seamless and performant frontend experience for users.
• Champion code quality, including unit testing (Jest) and end‐to‐end testing (Cypress), by mentoring colleagues and driving best practices.
• Collaborate with fellow engineers, product manager, UX designer, as well as Customer Support & Success team to enhance our onlyfy ATS—software designed to streamline the hiring process.
• Share knowledge and align with other frontend engineers on architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
• Thrive in an international, cross‐functional setting where English is our primary language (German is not required).

Your skills:

• Several years of hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with proven expertise in React and TypeScript.
• Familiarity or prior experience with Vue.js, or a willingness to pick it up as needed during our transition phase.
• Knowledge of Node.js, npm, and associated tooling for frontend dependency management.
• Proficiency in testing frameworks like Jest (unit tests) and Cypress (end‐to‐end tests).
• A focus on usability, accessibility, and responsive design, plus experience writing well‐tested frontend code (e.g., unit tests).
• A collaborative mindset—comfortable sharing knowledge, receiving feedback, and working in agile, cross-functional teams.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
