Overview

This role supports the implementation & deployment for continuous improvements of the General Ledger, Fixed assets, Banking, Accounts Receivable, Project systems and Controlling capabilities of the PepsiCo Global template (built through SAP S4HANA concepts), with a specific focus on the controlling & product costing/material ledger. Objectives of the role are to ensure that the Global Template supports the execution of business processes related to Finance in general and the delivery of continuous improvements to the existing SAP solutions. This role will adopt and adhere to delivery principles for the Europe DevSecOps organization.

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day with us:

  • Coordinate the delivery in the FICO area for continuous improvements to the live markets in S4HANA within the Record-to-Report (RTR) Delivery team - Accountable
    • Support team members in defining the solution to be implemented, delivery dates planning, execution of the changes, test support and production deployment; following PepsiCo processes.
    • Be responsible for following up, meeting deadlines and reporting status to our key stakeholders for the deliverables.
  • Hands-on delivery of new solutions for the business requirements raised as part of the continuous improvement program. Being accountable to carry out the activities part of the different phases (gathering requirements, solution conception and alignment, documentation, configuration, writing functional specs, FUT, SIT/UAT support, etc.) - Accountable
  • Support decision-making for General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Controlling localization of functionality in the Global Template during deployment – Accountable
  • Partner with the General Ledger, Accounts Receivable/Payable, and Controlling Global Leads to implement and deploy the end-to-end solution – Accountable
  • Collaborate with the General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Controlling Global Process Leads and Global SMEs to implement and deploy the Global Template – Consult/Execute
  • Actively engage and educate business process owners on solution optimization, simplification and standardization capabilities – Consult/Execute
  • Work closely and collaborate with onshore and offshore team members to ensure a prioritized and sufficient product backlog for the teams to work against – Consult/Execute
  • Ensure global lift and shift opportunities are deployed across the sectors – Consult/Execute
  • Adopt development practices which focus on quality and value, while increasing efficiency, and minimizing waste
  • Foster an environment where communication, teamwork, and innovation are encouraged
  • Help to implement Agile engineering best practices such as continuous integration, automation of testing and delivery, and continuous peer review within teams

Qualifications

What will you need to succeed?

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred from reputed institutions
• 12+ years of experience configuring, deploying and managing SAP ERP with a focus on Controlling overhead, Product Costing/Material Ledger, General Ledger, Taxes, Banking, Profitability Analysis, Accounts Receivable, Integration with Order To Cash and Make to Deploy value streams. Consulting background is a plus.
• 2+ years of SAP S4 Finance experience preferred
• Strong Financial & Management Accounting and Controls experience with SAP Controlling, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable/Payable in a global capacity
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
• Solves highly complex problems within their work team
• Strong influencing, facilitating, and consulting skills in working with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across departments
• Ability to quickly adapt to changes in timelines and sequences
• Adaptability and flexibility including ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change
• Flexibility to travel. As a reference, for current scope of work the need is up to 10%
