Your Role

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead, mentor, and grow a team of talented engineers to ensure the successful delivery of Edge while fostering technical excellence. This role presents a unique opportunity to shape the direction of an evolving product, define priorities, and build a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing team committed to continuous improvement.

You will manage a team of 6-7 members, including 1 Frontend Engineer, 1 QA Engineer, and several Backend Engineers across Europe. This role reports to the Director of Product Development.

1. Extensive experience in developing high-quality software for the JVM, including managing teams working with Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Ruby.
2. A strong leader with a proven ability to engage in architectural discussions, conduct code reviews, and stay involved with technology, even if not hands-on on a daily basis.
3. Experience with products built on vanilla frameworks (not just Spring Boot), with expertise in architecture and reactive integrations.
4. Experience with IoT protocols.
5. Knowledge of messaging infrastructure and engineering tools use cases.
6. Proven ability to manage and oversee 1-2 engineering teams.
