(Senior) Engineer (m/f/d) Mechanical Pitch & Yaw

YOUR TASKS:

Support Nordex service in fleet assessments for pitch & yaw components.

1. Analysis of the operation performance of the pitch & yaw systems.
2. Investigation, development and implementation of potential improvements for the reliability of the pitch & yaw systems in coordination with System Leads and Component Responsible.
3. Development of RCA (Root Cause Analysis) in coordination with other Engineering Departments and Service Department.
4. Techno-commercial evaluation of improvement measures.
5. Managing technical projects related to reliability, quality or costs.
6. Support to DFMEA development and quality assurance.

YOUR PROFILE:

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable university degree.

5+ years in the wind turbine sector, specifically with pitch and yaw systems.

Knowledge and experience about pitch and yaw systems: bearing, gears, lubrication.

Knowledge in quality assurance methodologies preferred.

Good communication skills.

Comfortable to work in multi-national, multi-cultural teams.

Willingness and ability to travel occasionally.

Ability to manage projects and to work as a team with good analytical skills.

The flexibility and dynamism in the execution of tasks.

Fluent in English, ideally skills in German and/or Spanish.
